8-track stereo for a 4yo they should have more than one 8-track tape and not be sharing a room with an 11yo with a cassette stereo. By the time I was old enough to really care about music or buy my own tapes 8-tracks did not exist. At the time it was bought it was a top of the line stereo that cost a few hundred dollars. This was in the early 70s when minimum wage was around $3. That was a huge waste of money. Bigger and better is not always better if it is not age appropriate.

Bates upheld the recording industry's powers under a 1998 law to compel Verizon Communications Inc. to id...one of its Internet subscribers who was suspected of illegally trading music or movies online.
