Surfing the net I stumbled upon a post which collected 10 websites from which you could download music directly. The blog is called Blog note , blog about technology, internet and collecting curiosities and of the 10 sites you have it here . It is a great joy to meet these sites from time to time. Among the people leaving comments recommending other sites as free your ears , musikdesire or musicaexcelente.com.

PS: It sometimes happens that these sites are not entirely legal and cieran any, work time, if someone finds a dead link which says so.

The clueless here will tell you it's illegal but there are plenty of sites that allow you to download music for free. A lot of bands have their own sites and will offer a few of their songs for free. There are also sites like that allow you to try before you buy.
As far as limewire goes, there may be some leagal songs out there but most of them are copyrighted so it is illegal to share them with the world. Add that to the fact that you will have a good chance of picking up some type of malware makes limewire or any p2p a risky option.

We have just launched the world's first online video site dedicated to music learning, This is a free, community driven site where musicians can upload their own music lesson videos and share their musical talents and passion with others. If desired, we will post a link to their web site to help budding musicians increase their exposure (for FREE).
I want to get the word out, but am very respectful of the CL music forum's anti spam rules. Do you have any tips on some appropriate music related sites where I can post and gain some exposure?
